I see what you're saying, but I think reviewers (and the general public)are also responding to an expectation that was created by Sony media hype. We were led to believe that the PS3 was going to be worlds beyond anything out there, including the 360. Based on the propaganda, the PS3's power should be evident from day one. Of course there's room to improve over the years, but that's not the point.

I agree- it does seem to have many of the good things that are available on xbLive. I think using real currency units in the store is a good move too. I don't like the Monopoly money points that xlive uses. I shouldn't have to convert points to dollars to figure out how much a magical elven cod piece is gonna really cost me.

Considering the number of demos I download on XBlive, doing the same on PS3 is gonna be more expensive than a gold account. And that's just based on what we know so far that Sony plans to charge for.

Playing this on Live is gonna be amazing! The controls and the action in this game feel excellent in the demo, not to mention the "bionic commando" grappling element. Can't wait to play this when it comes out!
I could be a d!ck and quote all the folks that were writing about how the PS3 version was gonna be so much better... but it's really not worth it with this game. Granted the developer's words were twisted to some extent, so I can't blame people for getting excited and thinking the new features on FA2 could only be possible on PS3.
So what have we learned? Don't expect the games made by rubbish developers to be any real indication of the limits or strengths of ANY console.
